Evidently, there’s no situation CBS can’t turn into middle-of-the-road comedy fodder. “United States of Al” (KRQE-13 7:31pm) A Marine combat veteran (Parker Young from “Suburgatory”) struggles to readjust to civilian life in Ohio-a task that becomes harder (and wackier) after Awalmir (Adhir Kalyan, “Rules of Engagement”), the Afghan interpreter who served with his combat unit, arrives to start a new life in America. ![]() Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula (Shudder streaming) Shudder snatches up this long-awaited animated sequel to Yeon Sang-ho’s jaw-droppingly propulsive South Korean zombie action flick from 2016. Sounds like a fine segment for NPR’s “All Things Considered,” but maybe not the most gripping Netflix content. “Worn Stories” (Netflix streaming) Real people unpack the “fascinating and quirky stories” around their most meaningful pieces of clothing. Unfortunately, he’s implanted a monitoring device in her brain, allowing him to track her, watch her and follow her “emotional data.” This darkly funny sci-fi (anti-) romance is based on the book of the same name by Alissa Nutting. “Made For Love” (HBO Max streaming) A woman (Cristin Milioti from Palm Springs) goes on the run after 10 years of suffocating marriage to a controlling tech billionaire (Ray Romano). Cagefighter (Crackle streaming) Former and current MMA fighters and pro wrestlers are among the cast members of this kumite-style fight film. Now, instead of watching this stuff on boring old basic cable, you can pay a monthly fee to a streaming service. ![]() “The Challenge: All-Stars” (Paramount+ streaming) MTV’s long-running competition reality show pits “the most iconic, boldest and fiercest competitors” from the original “Real World” and “Road Rules” against each other in head-to-head challenges for a $500,000 grand prize.
